Folder Express is a Google Drive™ Add-On for making repetitive sorting tasks easier. It adds menus and options to your spreadsheets to make them easier to move around and organize.

Folder Express was created to help small businesses easily manage their clients' portfolios. For example, a small business might use this to easily move a client's portfolio, a folder that contains all documents and files pertaining to that client, from a "Quotes" folder to an "Accounts Receivable" one when the client has agreed to the work order. Folder Express allows users to easily move the client's portfolio throughout the business pipeline. Ex. Quotes -> Accounts Receivable -> Paid.
When installing Folder Express, it will ask you for various permissions in order to operate. The main permissions it will ask for is the ability to show you third-party content in your Google Drive™ apps and to be able to edit the contents of your Drive™. We use this to show you our menu system and perform the operations you request. Currently, we only support our user interface in Google Spreadsheets™.
Users can set up the folders they want to be able to quickly sort files and folders into. There are also settings for moving an entire folder or just a file. Once moved, they can be sorted into subfolders based on month and year.
This addon was originally developed for the sole use of a single company. It has since been opened up to allow anyone to install and use it. Please contact the developer before making use of the add-on as it may not fit your use case. Make sure to read the legal page. It includes our privacy policy.
